HUF 5.5 Million For Hungarian Swimmer Hosszú

Three time Olympic champion Katinka Hosszú will receive Ft 5.5 million as do the winners of individual events, for winning a gold medal at the world aquatics championships. Ft 8 million is paid for breaking a world record.
The International Swimming Federation is distributing a total of Ft 1.5 billion among the various events, with the swimmers receiving the most.
However as the Hungarian state is also offering Ft 2.5 million to the gold winners, Hosszú has earned a total of Ft 7.7 million.
