Video: Budapest Biking ‘Hugely Popular’

It started as a sub-culture, but gained huge popularity thanks to the strong bike advocacy, positive campaigns, various stakeholders joining the cause and the recent infrastructural developments such as the bike-share system, new bike lanes and more than 160 one-way streets opened for two-way cycling.
Cycling is popular in Hungary, but big cities still face the problems caused by decades of car-centric urban development.
