Video: 5th Dist Bans Segways, Rickshaws, Beer Bikes

The 5th district’s local council on Tuesday announced that the use of Segways, electric bicycles, electric rollers, hoverboards, beer bikes and rickshaws will be banned on sidewalks and pedestrian zones from the middle of June.
Many people have complained in recent years about the spread of the aforementioned means of transport in the 5th District.
People lacking routine use as well as those moving at relatively high speed are prone to cause accidents, the council said.
As a result of the rule change, authorities may levy fines of up to Ft 50,000 on those who break the new rules.
