Retail Sales Climb By 5.4% In July In Hungary
Retail sales in Hungary rose by an annual 5.4% in July, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) said in a first reading of data.

Sales growth slowed from 6.8% in June. When adjusted for calendar year effects, growth was 5.3%.

Adjusted food sales were up 2.2%, non-food sales climbed by 9.2% and fuel sales rose by 5.6%. In January-July 2018, retail sales rose by 6.7% according to unadjusted and calendar-year adjusted data compared to the same period a year earlier.

Adjusted food sales were up 4.1%, non-food sales climbed by 9.8% and fuel sales rose by 7.2%.
