Midsummer Night’s Walk With The Giraffes At Debrecen Zoo, 21 June

This Friday happens to be both the day of the summer solstice and World Giraffe Day. In celebration of these special occasions, Debrecen Zoo is hosting a unique event on the shortest night of the year.
Visitors will get a chance to take a peek behind the scenes on custom guided tours, unraveling many mysteries the Zoo holds, such as the secret night lives of animals.
The event will enable close encounters with the giraffes, including Daahir, the youngest star in the family, with expert staff providing fun facts about our long-necked friends and their habitats.
Although giraffes will be in the spotlight for the night, animal-lovers will also be able to meet various other species up close we're told, including the newest arrivals to the zoo, the little African penguins and ring-tailed lemurs among others.
Keepers also have a number of wild stories in store for all those interested – revealing, for instance, how hippopotamuses get their teeth brushed.
The event is held on June 21 from 20:00 to 23:00, theer are only a limited number of tickets available.
