Old 500 Forint Bank Notes Expire After Today
Old Ft 500 bank notes (pictured on top) will cease to be legal tender after October 31, the MNB warned on Wednesday.

From November 1 only the new Ft 500 bank notes issued from February will be accepted.


Old Ft 500 bank notes issued before 2018 can be exchanged free of charge at banks and post offices for three more years and at the MNB for 20 years.
