Visa Card Sees Potential In Hungary, Says CEO Hogg
Hungary is a perfect market for growth for Visa, CEO Charlotte Hogg of the credit card company’s European operations told Portfolio in an interview.

There is a comprehensive change in the behaviour of consumers, she observed, with a transition to the mobile and digital world, while the regulatory framework is also changing.

Hungary has advanced regulations especially on client identification and open banking, Hogg remarked.

Cash usage is still high in Hungary but the market is technologically developed, which is promising for growth, she underlined.
