Hungary’s foreign minister has said the government will carry on representing Hungarian interests in 2024 "and won’t give in to blackmail”.
Hungary and Chad are launching comprehensive cooperation in areas covering security, the economy, humanitarian issues and education, the foreign minister said in N’Djamena.
In light of recent attempts to block former President Donald Trump from running in next year’s presidential elections in the United States, the government will not accept any criticism from the US on the state of democracy in Hungary, the foreign minister has said.
Through "building joint successes", Hungary and Slovakia will be able to solve their most complicated problems, the foreign minister said, adding that better bilateral ties would also improve the situation of ethnic Hungarians in Slovakia.
