Autumn English Painting Course In Budapest: ’Face, Figure & Style’, Until 19 December
In this course you can learn how to paint faces and figures not in realistic, but more artistic way.

Take some photos, add certain color palettes and create paintings that suit your taste. Embrace the wise comment: "less is more" and let go of small details.

Draw freely and always use light + dark as a start. Freely experiment with the paint, the paintbrush, palette knife and all sorts of different materials. The result? Surprisingly exciting and colorful paintings all over the room.
 

Syllabus:

1. Face From Front + Basic Lights - Hard Contrast

Acrylic - monochrome palette: brown-black-white - strong brushwork

2. Face From Profile + Airy Colors - Soft Contrast

Acrylic - limited palette: white +blue-yellow-purple - soft brushwork

3. Face From An Angle Lesson I.

Tricks to draw head in perspective + basic light and shading

4. Face From An Angle Lesson II.

Adding colour to the face, soft pastell tones and edgy painted blocks

5. Face Of Brown To Black Colours

Afro face character in golden light - Charcoal and Pastelle

6. Face In White, Yellow, Pink With Black Contrast

Asian face in minimalistic style - black marker, indian ink and white paint +red

7. Face And Facepainting

Free choice of face and technique with some facepainting design added

8. Figure In Clothes I. - Inspiration From Contemporary Paintings

Choose a photo of a figure you like and add the color scheme you think suits the best

9. Figure In Clothes II.

2nd part: painting the figure

10. Figure >> Nude I. - Inspiration From Contemporary Paintings

Choose a photo of a nude figure you like and add the color you think suits the best

2nd part: painting the figure

12.  Figure Or Face >> Free Choice Of Composition And Style

By this time you will feel what is your taste in figurative paintings, so you will be confident to do your own
 

How to apply: 

1. send an email back to me about your intention to participate,

2. Send a booking fee: 18.000  by the 16th of September via bank transfer on the following account number: Megyeri Zsófi - 1177302311401216

NOTE: In case of cancellation of the course, only the 50% of your booking fee will be sent back.

3. The rest of the fee can be paid in installments: 35.000 at the first lesson on the 26th of September, and the rest: 35.000 at the second half of the course: 7th of November.

Course fee: 

3 months 12x2,5 hours, all paint, paper and painting-board included: 88.000 HUF

Paying by occasions: 12.000 HUF
