Updated: Four More People Infected By New Virus In Hungary

The 13th person in Hungary to be diagnosed with Covid-19 is a Hungarian woman who has been in contact with the Debrecen-based British man diagnosed earlier this month, koronavirus.gov.hu, the government website providing information on the outbreak, said.
The woman has been quarantined in Budapest’s St László hospital for the past few days, the website said. The authorities have started investigating whom she may have been in contact with, it said.
Among the 13 confirmed cases so far, eight are Iranian, one is British and four are Hungarian.
On Wednesday morning, 69 people were in quarantine due to suspicion of carrying the new virus, while the health authority has done tests on 609 samples, according to koronavirus.gov.hu.

According to a post on the government information website koronavirus.gov.hu, (abailable only in Hungarian) another three cases have emerged in Hungary, bringing the number of confirmed cases of Covid-19 in the country to 12.
Fully 53 people are in quarantine, while samples have been taken from 362 people suspected of carrying the virus, the website said.
The three new virus cases, all of them Iranian students studying at the medical Semmelweis University, were diagnosed at St. László hospital where they have been under observation for several days.
In line with the protocol issued by the National Chief Medical Officer, an investigation into their prior whereabouts and personal contacts over the past two weeks will start immediately.
Fully eight Iranian, one British and three Hungarian citizens have been confirmed as carrying the new coronavirus.
