Coronavirus: Cases Rise To 3921 With 532 Deaths In Hungary

The number of confirmed people infected with the coronavirus in Hungary now stands at 3,921. The number of deaths stands at 532, while the number of those recovered now stands at 2,160.

Number of active infected is 1,229, 427 patients are hospitalized, 24 of them are on ventilators.

We are in the second phase of defense, which this does not mean the end of the epidemic, as the virus still continues to spread. 

The goal is to gradually restart life according to a strict schedule and continue to avoid an "outbreak."

Current restrictions on restaurants and cafés in Budapest have been lifted, allowing all eateries to serve customers indoors again.

As the data on the deceased has shown, the coronavirus is the most dangerous for the elderly. Elderly citizens are therefore especially asked to stay at home and request help from their relatives or the municipality with shopping.
