Coronavirus: Bodies Stacked In Szentendre Morgue
The dead were stored in open coffins stacked one on top of another in the Szentendre morgue, according to a video made public by independent MP Ákos Hadházy (pictured on top).

Szentendre mayor Zsolt Fülöp ordered an investigation due to the conditions seen in the video and asked for extraordinary information from the company providing funeral services.

The mayor concluded after his Friday on-site visit that, although the deceased were not stacked in an abusive manner, conditions must be improved.

A spokesman for the Public Health Office found, on the basis of the records, that none of the deceased there had died of the Covid-19 virus.

Police have begun an investigation into the person who had made the video, on suspicion of spreading intimidating horror and fake news.
