Cosmetics & Healthcare Retailer Launches Speedy Product-Scanning App In Hungary
Drogerie Markt has introduced its product-scanning app for mobile phones in Hungary, the subsidiary of German household chemicals and health product retail chain announced.

Users may scan the products in the shops themselves with their mobile phones and check out at the cashier by showing a QR code with a total amount to be paid, thereby speeding up the queuing process.

Hungarian shoppers can first experience the self-scanning technology in the Drogerie Markt unit in Buda shopping mall Allee.

Tesco already offers self-scanning check-out points in some of its shops, Napi adds.

The app used for shopping can be downloaded here for IOS & Android.
