Wolt Extends Food Delivery Service To Miskolc
Food delivery service Wolt is now available in Miskolc, according to a press release.

Some 30 local restaurants in the city have joined Wolt's offering. The company says that it will keep expanding its service area throughout the country this year.

To make the debut memorable, Wolt surprised the hospital workers at Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County General Hospital's vaccination center by delivering them dozens of pizzas for free.

“We consider it important to recognize the work of those who do the most in protecting against the virus and thank them as well.

In the current period of the epidemic, the workers at the vaccination centers are under the greatest pressure, so in agreement with the management of the hospital, we surprised the workers here on the occasion of Wolt's arrival in Miskolc," said Alexandra Juhász, Wolt's head of marketing.

In the past year alone, the number of restaurants in Wolt's lineup has increased significantly, to nearly 2,000, and the number of the company's delivery partners has also doubled.

Due to the pandemic, Wolt introduced a new system for supporting restaurants. All users now have the ability to donate to their favorite restaurant through the service's mobile application.

Besides Budapest and Miskolc, Wolt is available in the following cities too: Budaörs, Debrecen, Győr, Nyíregyháza, Pécs, Szeged, Szentendre, Szolnok, Szombathely and Székesfehérvár.
