Thousands of SME's in Hungary Apply for Vouchers to Boost Online Presence
So far, 4,300 SMEs have applied for vouchers in a recently launched government scheme to raise their online profiles, the state secretary for SMEs said in a statement on Wednesday.

Positive decisions have been taken on 1,500 applications for vouchers with a value of HUF 2bn, from a HUF 9bn programme allocation, Richard Szabados said.

SMEs may apply for vouchers with a value of between HUF 400,000 and HUF 1.5m to launch a website or webshop or establish a presence on social media.

The scheme is part of the Demjan Sandor Programme for scaling up SMEs.
