New Special Low Prices for Budapest Residents at City Baths & Swimming Pools

Podmaniczky Movement leader Dávid Vitézy announced in a post on social media on Monday that students can enter public baths in Budapest at a lower rate from April and tickets will cost less at certain hours.

These benefits will be extended to all Budapest residents from the summer, while opening hours will be longer.

This had been proposed by the Fidesz group leader on city council, Alexandra Szentkirályi, last November.

Students can now visit Budapest swimming pools and thermal baths at half price once a month.

Students can purchase tickets at a discount of up to 80% within two hours of closing time.

This opportunity will only be available for those engaged in public and higher education studies in Budapest or those with a Budapest address who purchased their student passes in the BKK BudapestGO app.

In the summertime, all Budapest residents can buy tickets at half price in the first two hours of the morning and the last two hours of the evening at Budapest swimming pools.
