Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will visit Washington, D.C., on November 7 for talks with U.S. President Donald Trump at the White House, government officials confirmed on Thursday.
After months of speculation, U.S. President Donald Trump has nominated New York businessman Benjamin Landa as his candidate for the post of U.S. Ambassador to Budapest. The nomination was forwarded to the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations on October 2, which will decide on final confirmation, The Washington Post reported.
Trump Jr told the 'Trump Business 2025' forum organised by Hungarian news portal Portfolio that whereas last summer he had been a part of his father’s campaign team, this time he was visiting Budapest on business - see the video below.
