Alza Introduces 'Buy Now, Pay Later' Service in Hungary
Retailer Alza.hu has partnered with Klarna to offer shoppers in Hungary more flexible payment options through the company's "buy now, pay later" (BNPL) service.

Shoppers can now choose to pay the full purchase price immediately, split the cost into interest-free instalments, or, if they are returning customers, pay the full amount within 30 days.

Under the instalment option, the purchase price is divided into three equal payments, with the first due at checkout and the remaining two payable at one-month intervals.

BNPL services differ from traditional consumer loans, as they generally do not require income verification and do not rely on conventional credit assessment procedures.

Klarna is one of the world's largest providers of deferred payment services, offering interest-free payment options in a wide range of markets.
