United Way Hungary’s Charity Gala, Budapest Marriott Hotel, 12 November

From United Way Team: "Please, join us to celebrate United Way Hungary’s 30th anniversary on November 12th, 2021, 6.30 pm at Budapest Marriott Hotel. We are excited to welcome our donors, our partners, and our volunteers of the last three decades to thank them for their support.

Funds raised at this event will be spent on programs that help underprivileged children and youth,  often at risk, to overcome their disadvantages, to acquire the skills necessary for self-realization and self-preservation. This year we are also focusing on helping families who are in need in consequence of the pandemic situation.

Our guests seated at the 30 tables will be dedicated visionary leaders of the corporate and civic sectors who demonstrate philanthropic leadership through actions. They are actively committed to finding solutions to the problems at hand and creating lasting changes in their communities.

Tables up to 10 seats are available, so you can spend a pleasant evening with your business partners or friends while supporting important issues.

On November 30, United Way Hungary held its annual fundraising gala in the Budapest Marriott Hotel. More than 180 guests, representing companies, institutions, NGOs, and volunteers, were invited to celebrate this year's achievements.

The painting entitled Woman with a Birdcage was created in two versions by József Rippl-Rónai, the first of which will now be sold at an auction on December 17 for HUF 180 million (EUR 473,840), reports Magyar Nemzet. Such a high starting price has never been seen at a Hungarian art auction.
