European leaders holding a meeting in Budapest on Thursday urged US president-elect Donald Trump not to launch trade wars, to sustain the funds extended to Ukraine and abstain from disrupting the current global order, Reuters reported.
Parliament voted on Monday to empower the government to prolong by 180 days the state of emergency in connection with the war in Ukraine.
Speaking at the 34th International Red Cross Conference, Szijjartó said: "The war in Ukraine is the most serious humanitarian crisis in Europe in recent decades... As a neighbouring country, we have been bearing the heavy impact of these challenges for nearly a thousand days."
Hungary will cast an "emphatic no" vote on a European Union proposal on punitive tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Peter Szijjarto said.
