New E-Scooter Sharing Service in Budapest, Offers Daily, Weekly & Monthly Passes
Whoosh has become the fourth e-scooter-sharing company (after Lime, Bird and Tier) to launch its service in Budapest, with a fleet of 750 vehicles in the Sixth, Seventh and Eighth districts.

The company entered the competitive market with favourable rates, with fees of Ft 50 on start-up, and Ft 35 per minute thereafter.

A daily pass costs Ft 3,990 and weekly and monthly passes are also available.

Whoosh capped the maximum speed at 25 km/h and the e-scooters stop automatically in pedestrian zones designated by the city.

The e-scooters can only be docked at so-called Mobi points.

Estonian company WSH Mobility has a fleet of 20,000 scooters across Europe and is planning to expand its service further in Budapest. Each vehicle is equipped with an IoT module that allows tracking of the e-scooter and its charging level, and also provides information about the quality of the pavement.
