Grammy Award-Winning Guitar Genius Steve Vai to Play Again in Budapest on 12 April
Three-time Grammy Award-winning guitarist Steve Vai is one of the most influential guitar virtuosos of our time, with a stunning playing style and technical innovations that have left their mark on modern rock guitar.

The brilliant musician has released 17 solo albums to date, with his most recent, Inviolate, released last year, which will be performed live at Akvárium Klub on April 12.

Steve Vai is a virtuoso guitarist, composer and producer, considered by many as one of the greatest guitarists of all time. In over 40 years in the industry, Vai has sold over 15 million records, received three Grammy Awards, and recorded with music legends like Frank Zappa, David Lee Roth, Whitesnake and many more.

Vai has also toured extensively and recorded live projects with G3 (collaborating with different touring lineups including Joe Satriani, John Petrucci, Eric Johnson, Yngwie Malmsteen, and Steve Lukather). His career began in 1980 with Frank Zappa, but he soon launched a solo career in 1983.

He also writes, produces and mixes his own solo albums, which he releases through his own label.

Vai released his latest album Inviolate last year, followed by a North American and European tour, and now Vai is continuing the Inviolate world tour “Our previous fall tour of North America was outstanding.

Myself and the band are as oiled up and ready as ever. I’m excited to finally bring the Hydra guitar to Europe as I missed doing that on the last EU run. The response from Inviolate was tremendously positive and it showed in the press, the attendances and the energy in the audience and we are so much looking forward to this EU tour.”- Said Vai.

The Hdyra is a very special guitar with one body, two heads and three necks, a real guitar monster dreamed by Vai and of course heard on the album. Soon, we will be able to admire the legendary guitarist playing this extraordinary instrument live on April 12.

Tickets available from 20 January at Livenation.hu
