The Subways Concert, Dürer Kert Budapest, 27 March
The Subways returns to Budapest on 27 March with a new album .

The British trio has been touring Hungary a lot, we've heard a few lines of Rock & Roll Queen in Hungarian at their concerts (and in a quarantine version recorded in 2020, among other languages), but now they've starved the Hungarian audience with Covid and other changes around the band. But we won't have to wait much longer: The Subways will return to the Dürer Kert on 27th March, and we'll be able to hear their new album too!

The last two years have not been easy for anyone and The Subways are no exception. The trio, which was formed as an almost teenage band, and Josh Morgan left the band in 2020 for family reasons - the younger brother of frontman Billy Lunn -  and was replaced by Camille Phillips.

Working on new songs during the pandemic was also hampered by Lunn's mental health, who has spoken openly about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and regularly attends Anonim Alcoholycs meetings.

The new album was originally scheduled to be released in late 2021 or early 2022, but now it looks like everything is back on track for the band, as the title and release date of the new album have been released alongside the recently released Black Wax single!
