Set in the 14th century, “Rapture” follows members of a monastery as they struggle against the Plague and mysterious possessions that turn individuals violent. The film blends historical drama with supernatural horror, exploring fear and faith in a time of crisis.

With its medieval architecture and experienced film industry, Hungary provides an ideal backdrop for the film’s atmospheric setting. While specific production dates have not been disclosed, “Rapture” is scheduled for a 2025 release.

Produced by David Hinojosa and Julia Oh, the project continues Hungary’s trend as a key location for major international productions.
