Business Confidence Index Edges Up in Hungary
The business confidence index of the National Bank of Hungary (NBH) rose to +1 point in July from -4 points in the previous month, the bank said.

The measure of businesses’ assessment of their current situation climbed to -11 points from -19 points.

The gauge of companies’ outlooks edged up to +12 points from +11 points. The indicator for companies’ propensity to make investments increased to +33 points from +31 points.

The sub-index for making new hires rose from zero from +1 point.
