Digital Citizenship Scheme Launched in Hungary
Hungary's government has launched a Digital Citizenship scheme which enables citizens to present their personal ID using a mobile phone, the government spokesperson said.

Eszter Vitalyos told a government press briefing at a cabinet away-day in southern Hungary that the app includes an individual's personal and vehicle registration data in one place and enables them to book an appointment in government administration offices.

The app has been downloaded 176,000 times so far and expected to reach 400,000 by the end of this year.
