Revolut to Withdraw Crypto Services from Hungary
Revolut will fully discontinue its cryptocurrency services in Hungary following changes in the regulatory environment.

The fintech firm says the move is necessary to maintain compliance with local rules.

Revolut Digital Assets Europe has obtained MiCA-related licences from Cyprus’s securities regulator, CySEC.

However, the new licensing framework will allow the platform to reopen only briefly, giving customers time to exit their positions.

Users may manage their crypto holdings until December 18.

During this transition, they can either sell their assets for currency, such as euros or forints, or transfer them on-chain to an external wallet.

Those who take no action by the deadline will see their holdings automatically sold at the prevailing market price, with the proceeds credited to their accounts, after which their crypto profiles will be closed permanently.
