Boban Marković Orkestar, Margaret Island Budapest, 11 June
A cooproduction of the Boban Markovic Orkestar and the Székesfehérvár Ballet Theatre.

In the first part of the performance, titled "Parade," we present the joint production of Boban Markovic Orkestar and the Székesfehérvár Ballet Theatre, directed by Attila Egerházi.

This production is a contemporary dance theatre piece aimed at dramatizing and visually presenting, using dance theatre tools, a music genre with a specific tone and stylistic elements rooted in deep traditions.

"Parade" expresses a state of mind through the language of dance theatre. Its dramaturgical structure is based on the "Mrak" music album, depicting various moods, life scenes, and situations. Egerházi Attila, the director-choreographer, has created genre pictures inspired by Boban Markovic's unique and highly dynamic, lively yet dramatic musical world.

These pictures form a series of scenes imbued with sarcasm and humor, portraying a world and conveying a state of mind.

In the second part of the evening, the Boban Markovic Orkestar's spectacular concert will bring an authentic Balkan atmosphere to the stage of the Margitsziget Theatre.

The world premiere of the performance took place as part of the Bartók Spring, organized by Müpa.
