Arriving at a milestone in his career after picking up the brush in 2016, Zeus now reflects on the evolution and concentration of his work, assessing his own motivations for starting to paint.

Through the three acts, the artist traverses through death, viscerality, spirituality to arrive at the resurrection of parts of one’s self in the desire to leave what must be left behind and be open and ready what is to come.

The three performances are also the burial and the integration of his signature mask as well as the final public cutting of himself as part of his art practice. In all three parts, Zeus pays homage to one of his signature colors, the color red and its variants.

The first part of the Trilogy is a video piece, recorded in private.

In an intimate setting, Zeus here investigates concepts of the body, mind, and soul, stretching the boundaries of the physical, intellectual-emotional, and spiritual as he paints his canvases of the experience of the human as a whole. In this part, Zeus primarily aims to show how powerful each aspect of human existence can be in its potential to destroy and create at the same time.

The second part of the Trilogy is performed in front of a live audience of only 11 people on February 29, 2024 from 5pm.

The 90-minute performance (of two segments) builds on the four formless absorptions that can be cultivated via concentration: limitless space, limitless consciousness, nothingness, and the "peak of cyclic existence" (samsara).

The 11 guests – watching the performance at designated seats, not to be interfering with the action – are to witness explicit content involving nudity, sexuality, laceration, blood, and potential sensory discomfort as Zeus invokes to the elements within us. Paying homage as well alignment and chakras, the performance is to reveal the nature of human nature – from its nastiness to its beauty.

With only 11 tickets being available, this exclusive performance is an invitation to a once-in-a-lifetime experience, asking the viewer to come with an open mind but also offering them the opportunity to face their own limitations. The ticket comes with one painting of 33x33 cm from the limited series of the Trilogy of Death By Zeus Salas.

The third part of the Trilogy is a public performance of multiple hours on March 30, 2024.

As an arrival or advancement of peace, this performance is the antithesis of the disruptive 666 performance of 2021.

Then Zeus, over the course of six hours and while drinking a bottle of absinthe, painted his signature character of the devil 666 times in black on a white sheet of paper. Then, he was looking to destroy the spirit. During this March event, he arrives at the performance space after 10 hours of fasting, and he will not be eating or drinking during the performance either.

He will be painting devils, 666 in red. Devils will inhabit the space as the process of release permeates the presence of the artist in re-birth.
