9 Athletes from Hungary to Attend Special Olympics World Winter Games in Turin
"Being an Olympic athlete and representing the homeland is a fantastic thing," President Tamas Sulyok said at the oath-taking ceremony of athletes leaving for the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Turin.

The president greeted the delegation of 9 athletes and 11 people accompanying them, and congratulated them on their achievement of qualifying for the Games.

"Your fight has been going on for a long time. Today is but a stop in your career path. This is the path of loving sport and finding joy in it, but also of making tireless efforts," the president said at event hosted in the presidential Sandor Palace.

"Being an Olympic athlete and representing one's home country is a fantastic thing", Sulyok said.
