New Street Music Festival, Miskolc on 5 - 6 September
The 'Shake It Up! - Street Music in Miskolc' festival will be held on the main street of the city, where audiences will be able to meet 25 performers at 5 locations on Friday the 5th and Saturday 6th September, the organizers told MTI.

The event will feature a range of musical styles, from swing to blues and rock'n'roll, brass music and world music to hip-hop, and the organizers are also preparing dance productions at several locations.

The programs will be available at various points in the city center of Miskolc: there will be a stage at the Széchenyi Statue on the Town Hall Square, at the Pannonia Hotel, at the House of Arts in the CineFest Lounge, at the Miskolc National Theatre and at the Lakat Bridge on the Szinva Terrace.

The street music festival will feature performances by the Sena Dagadub trio, Dos Diavolos, the duo of Juci Németh and G. Szabó Hunor, and Áron Bodor, who will bring his project titled A čensedeb érzem to Miskolc.

The city will also host concerts by the Varga Livius Show Band, Kornél Simon and Boughris, and Blues From Hell from Debrecen, complete with the guitar playing of comedian László Hadházi, they wrote.

The festival's musical productions will also include dance, for example, the Miskolc Ballet Company will be preparing a street performance, while the Grand Jeté Dance Group will bring "a little swing madness" to the main street with the La Barriére Manouche Jazz Orchestra.

Several performers from Miskolc and the surrounding area will be represented at the event, including Ildi Rider, Zenegép, Vadkelet, the Nahaj brothers, and Gábor Kacsenyák, the frontman of the band Here We Are, who also appeared in the program "Song".

The 'Shake It Up! - Street Music in Miskolc' will take place on the opening weekend of the 21st CineFest Miskolc International Film Festival, as an accompanying program, with the intention of creating a tradition.

The event is organized by the BOLDOGkisfalud Feszt crew, on behalf of the Miskolc Cultural Center.
