The festival will present 15 European and arthouse films at discounted ticket prices, with three screenings each day.

Among the biggest attractions are advance screenings of three films ahead of their Hungarian release:

* Survival – a South Korean post-apocalyptic thriller directed by Park Se-young.
* Four Seasons: A New Beginning – an Italian film directed by Damiano Michieletto.
* Out There – an Italian drama directed by Mario Martone, which will also close the festival on 26 August.

The opening day features the French comedies Who Would Have Thought? and Who Would Have Thought? 2, followed by the pre-premiere of Survival.

Throughout the week, movie audiences can also enjoy a varied programme including French and German comedies, romantic and historical dramas, family films, award-winning animation and acclaimed festival favourites.

* The Lover
* The Sudden Bride
* The Flying Class
* Flow, the Oscar-winning animated film by Latvian director Gints Zilbalodis
​​​​​​​* The First Day of My Remaining Life
​​​​​​​* Franz – The Life of Kafka, directed by Agnieszka Holland
​​​​​​​* The Book of Miracles
​​​​​​​* What If...?
​​​​​​​* The Worker of Tomorrow

Beyond Budapest, selected screenings will also take place in Debrecen, Jászberény, Miskolc, Szeged, Szolnok and Szombathely, as organisers aim to encourage audiences back to arthouse cinemas during the summer.

The event is supported by Hungary's National Cultural Fund.
