IMF Puts Hungary  GDP Growth at 0.6% in 2025, 2.1% in 2026
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) projected Hungary's GDP growth would reach 0.6pc in 2025, then accelerate to 2.1pc in 2026 in its latest World Economic Outlook released on Tuesday.

The IMF put average annual inflation at 4.5pc in 2025 and 3.5pc in 2026.

It projected a current-account surplus equivalent to 1.2pc of GDP in 2025 and 0.9pc in 2026.

The jobless rate is set to edge down from 4.3pc in 2025 to 4.2pc in 2026.
