Conditions for EU-Funded Small Business Scheme Relaxed in Hungary
Conditions have been eased for a HUF 150bn European Union-funded support scheme that benefits small businesses in disadvantaged regions, the National Economy Ministry said.

Conditions on the type of costs covered by the funding have been loosened, the grant range has been widened to HUF 4m-150m and businesses are now eligible for support equivalent to double their turnover in the previous year.

So far, 2,400 applications for a combined HUF 61.7bn of funding have been submitted in the scheme launched in March 2025. Around 1,300 projects have been awarded HUF 31.5bn of funding.
