The Hungarian government will not block the start of European Union accession negotiations with Ukraine if Kyiv guarantees the rights of the Hungarian minority, Prime Minister Peter Magyar said in an interview published in the Thursday edition of French daily Le Monde, quoting remarks Magyar made to the newspaper during his visit to Paris the previous day.
Former Prime Minister Viktor Orbán "personally controlled" the work of law enforcement and secret service agencies, Prime Minister Peter Magyar said on Facebook on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Peter Magyar, in a video posted on Facebook on Monday, drew attention to a golden lift and gold-plated bathroom fittings in the National Bank of Hungary's headquarters on Szabadsag Square which, he said, had cost the taxpayer 105 billion forints.
"The Tisza Party will amend the constitution unless President Tamas Sulyok resigns from his post," Prime Minister Peter Magyar said in front of the presidential Sandor Palace on Monday.
