Hungary's incoming Tisza government will retain all effective existing policies, as outlined in its 240-page platform, Peter Magyar, the party's leader, said in an interview to public media on Wednesday.
Peter Magyar, the leader of the Tisza Party, on Wednesday said President Tamas Sulyok will formally invite him to form the next government. Magyar met the president after Sulyok invited the leaders of the parties with mandates in the new parliament to attend talks at Sandor Palace.
Independent MP Ákos Hadházy announced his retirement on Monday. He said on social media that after the voters’ decision he is leaving public life and will continue as a private individual.
The Orbán government "has bankrupted Hungary", which has become "the poorest and most corrupt country in Europe by all accounts", the prime ministerial candidate of the Tisza Party, which won the parliamentary elections, told public news channel M1 on Wednesday.
