Fortieth F.O. System Anniversary Concert at Akvárium Klub Budapest on 13 November
Next year marks forty years since the members of F.O. System first performed their songs in front of an audience. To celebrate this special milestone, they are preparing an even bigger and more spectacular concert than ever before on November 13, 2026, at Akvárium Klub, where the band’s entire repertoire will be performed, along with additional surprises for the audience.

F.O. System was formed in 1986. The remaining active members from the original lineup are Attila Mátyás (guitarist and vocalist) and Csaba Jerabek (bassist). The band quickly gained a significant following as the first domestic representatives of the dark-wave movement, with their intense, brooding songs.

It’s no surprise that their first concert was held at PeCsa alongside the bands Kreténs and Normál, followed by numerous smaller and larger performances both in Hungary and abroad. They have shared the stage with acts such as New Modern Army and Christian Death.

However, in 1991, the band bid farewell to their fans, remaining inactive until 2006, when they reunited for a one-off concert. During this comeback show, they performed their favorite songs, and from that point onward, they have gathered almost every year for special occasions to perform F.O. System’s music live.

Next year marks the fortieth anniversary of the band’s formation, which will be celebrated with the longest F.O. System concert to date.

During the evening, all of their original songs will be performed, former band members will appear on stage, and the audience can also expect additional surprises on November 13 at Akvárium Klub.
