In a curtain-raiser video, Ambassador of India to Hungary, Anshuman Gaur, highlighted that the festival is part of the Embassy’s ongoing efforts to deepen cultural cooperation between India and Hungary, and to foster people-to-people connections through the universal language of film.

“Through the film festival, we celebrate not only artistic excellence in cinema, but also the enduring friendship and cultural exchange between our peoples,” he said.

All screenings will feature Hungarian subtitles and are open to both film enthusiasts and the general public. Entry is free, with tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis, collected in person from the Puskin Cinema ticket counter. Advance booking opens 12 February 2026.
