Britannica International School, Budapest Joins Ariston Education Global Network Of Schools
Britannica International School, Budapest, today announced it had joined Ariston Education, a growing global group of premium Early Years – Year 13 schools and creator of the AQ = EQ + IQ framework for future ready learning.

The school now becomes part of the Ariston Education alliance of schools, extending the group’s international footprint and reinforcing its mission of creating "Pathways for Excellence" for students around the world.

A Bigger Network, Greater Opportunity

As part of a larger education network, Britannica International School will stand to benefit from increased richness and diversity across the wider Ariston Education network.

Over time, this includes the addition of new schools to the group, strengthened central services and further investment in school improvement, systems, and services.

The ambition is straightforward: to bring more resources, more expertise, and more opportunity to every Ariston Education school and the students and staff within it.

Active investment

Britannica International School, Budapest has already received the first initial investment destined to improving campus facilities and includes significant improvements to the school's learning environment.

Over the summer, key teaching and learning areas were refurbished, classrooms and shared spaces were enhanced, additional air conditioning was installed across the campus and outdoor play and learning facilities were upgraded.

Continued investment has also been made in school infrastructure, safety and security systems, helping to ensure that students and staff benefit from a modern, comfortable and well-maintained environment that supports learning and wellbeing.

These improvements reflect a shared commitment to providing an environment where students can learn, develop and flourish.

Brian Rogove, CEO of Ariston Education, said:

“We are delighted that Britannica International School, Budapest has joined the Ariston Education alliance of schools, allowing the school to access wider resources in terms of investment, education and importantly a framework approach that best prepares their future ready students.”

Michael W. Clack, Principal of Britannica International School, Budapest said:

"Having spent time with Ariston Education's leadership team and learning more about their vision and values, I am confident that this partnership represents a positive step forward for Britannica. What has impressed me most is the strong alignment between their educational philosophy and our own commitment to excellence, wellbeing, safeguarding and ensuring every student is known, valued and supported.

Most importantly, this is about building on strengths rather than changing who we are. The values, relationships and sense of community that have always defined Britannica remain at the heart of our school. At the same time, joining Ariston Education provides exciting opportunities for collaboration, investment and continued growth that will benefit our students, staff and families for many years to come."

Business as Usual for School and Staff

Daily operations, teaching and learning, and school routines will continue as usual. Over time, investment from Ariston Education will support organic growth as schools become part of a larger education network.

The Principal will continue to report to the School Board and their Regional Head of Schools (RHoS) on a day to day basis, exactly as they do today. In addition, they will now also report to the Regional CEO of Ariston Education.

For employees, there are no immediate changes and as the number of schools in the network increases, some roles and structures may evolve over time to support that growth, potentially bringing enhanced opportunities for professional development, career progression and investment in central support services.

The Britannica International School website britannicaschool.hu remains live and the school is also featured in the group's website aristonedu.com.
