Looking to attend either Corvinus or CEU to get my MBA. Moved to Budapest for my gf whom I met last October when I was here visiting.

1. When did you arrive in Hungary and what brought you here?
Arrived in Budapest on May 31st w/ my Hungarian gf.

2. Have you ever been an expatriate elsewhere?
No

3. What surprised you most about Hungary?
The city reminded me of NYC and the history of Hungary, as explained by Wikipedia

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend--what must they absolutely see and do?
I still have yet to see all of Budapest, but I'd have to show the guys Váci utca...but tell them not to fall for it. ;) (not speaking from experience...just read about it on xpatloop :D)

5. What is your favorite Hungarian food?
Some Hungarian breakfast my gf made me my first morning here...it had rice, paprika, tomatoes, sausage, onions

6. What is never missing from your refrigerator?
WINE!

7. What is your favorite Hungarian word?
Egészségére!

8. What do you miss the most from home?
My car.

9. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
Social anthropology or be Indiana Jones

10. What's a job you would definitely never want?
Telemarketer

11. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Was in Rio De Janeiro for a week in February this year...awesome trip! every man needs to go.

12. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
Want to go to Greece or Croatia

13. What was your favorite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
Hmmm....band: Violent Femmes/Nirvana/Guns N' Roses; film: Singles/Last of the Mohicans; hobby: playing guitar

14. What can't you resist?
Fresh orange juice, a good swell (I surf), running, sex, scotch and cigars

15. Red wine or white?
Currently, dry white wines.

16. Book or movie?
Depends on the mood....but i'm always down to see a good movie.

17. Morning person or night person?
Again it depends...if I was out late last night, I'm not so much a morning person, but if I got a good nights sleep, then I love waking up early and going for a run or surfing in the morning session.

18. Dog person or cat person?
Most def a dog person....I hate cats...I'm allergic :(

19. Buda side or Pest side?
Hard to say, I haven't been exposed to either side a whole lot....although I currently live in the Buda side...

20. What would you say is your personal motto?
Alcohol maybe man's worst enemy, but the bible says to love your enemy.
