1. Where did you grow up?
Budapest, in the city, on Damjanich Street, quite close to Gundel.

2. What brings back fond memories of your childhood?
Football. I fell in love with it while playing in the City Park. Played on the Budapest Építők Team until the age of 18.

3. What would you miss most if you moved away from Hungary?
I’ve had to move three times: Kuwait, Greece and London.

4. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
See as much as they can of the Hungarian countryside, since knowing Budapest is not enough.

5. What is your favourite Hungarian food?
Goulash soup and all the sweets they have at Gundel, like the Gundel Pancake and Somlói Sponge Cake, which is the cake of 2010.

6. What is never missing from your kitchen?
Milk. I drink a lot of it. Also, fine sausages, cheese, fresh fruits and vegetables.

7. What is your favourite place in Hungary?
The first place is the Budapest Danube Bank, sitting on the Pest side on a nice summer evening and looking at the Castle. Second is Gundel.

8. What career other than yours would you love to pursue?
First I wanted to be a football player, then a surgeon and since then I’ve always followed the approach of a surgeon: spot the problem and solve it, without harming the body.

9. What's a job you would definitely never want?
Foundry man. I hate fire.

10. Where did you spend your last vacation?
Japan, early 2010. I went when the cherry trees are in bloom, but it was a cold spring so no too many flowers could be seen.

11. Where do you hope to spend your next one?
Skiing somewhere with the Grandson.

12. What was your favourite band, film, or hobby as a teen?
Paul Anka, The Beatles and football as a hobby. In my childhood only Russian war films were shown. Interestingly, their machine guns never had to be refilled.

Temptation and competition. I really like competition.

Red and also Tokaj Aszú since it is so special.

16. Morning person or night person?
Absolutely morning. I do not like inefficiency.

When I became Deputy Secretary. It confirmed that effort and the risks you take are worth it and are rewarded.

19. Which social issue do you feel most strongly about?
Poverty.

20. What would you say is your personal motto?
First thing’s first. Mind your own business.
