1. Why did you become a dentist?
I started my career as a general doctor, then fell in love with dentistry and became an oral surgeon, and have been in practice for almost 15 years.
2. Why did you choose to work at Evergreen Dental?
I wanted to help my patients in an appropriate professional setting, in a professional environment. I like to work with my colleagues, to solve tasks together as a team.
3. What is your favorite part of working at Evergreen?
Every day I am happy to come to work at Evergreen Dental because I have everything I need to provide the best possible service to my patients. Not to mention that I love working with such modern equipment.
In my work, I find it important to work professionally and precisely, to create a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere, and to build a lasting doctor-patient relationship based on trust. My goal is to ensure that the patient leaves the clinic satisfied and smiling after the dental treatment.
4. What is your favorite story at Evergreen?
A few months ago, I treated a patient who wanted to have implants placed in her mouth after tooth extractions. In the process, we discovered that she suffers from severe osteoporosis, so this solution was out of the question which made her desperate for a moment.
We immediately came out with a new plan, we found a solution that was feasible even for her. After the treatment she was so-so happy that she cried several times in the dentist's chair.
Those are the moments that make being a dentist worth it :)
5. If you could be an expat anywhere in the world, where would you choose?
I really like exotic places and nature, and I also enjoy scuba diving. I've recently returned from Brazil, I loved it.
6. What would you miss most if you moved away from Hungary?
Hungary's natural treasures, and the lake Balaton.
7. Friends are in Budapest for a weekend - what must they absolutely see and do?
I would definitely show them the best sights of Budapest. The Citadel, Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion, Heroes' Square near our clinic and the City Park. If they want a good coffee, I would take them to Bartók Béla Boulevard.
8. What is your favourite food?
I don't have a particular favourite food but I really like Hungarian cuisine, especially when my wife prepares it.
9. What is your favourite place in Hungary?
My home, Debrecen, where my family lives.
10. Buda or Pest side?
I make no difference between the two, they both have their advantages and disadvantages.
11. What would you say is your personal motto?
“A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.”
For me, dentistry is not just about teeth, but also about people. I know many people feel uncomfortable in a dental chair, so from the very first minute I try to create a relaxed atmosphere and carry out a pain-free treatment in a well-equipped consulting room with the help of highly trained professionals.
