The late author Péter Esterházy will be laid to rest on August 2, at his family’s shrine in the church of Ganna, a village in western Hungary. Funeral rites will be administered by Asztrik Várszegi, arch abbot of Pannonhalma. German Matthias Dolderer won the historic 70th Red Bull Air Race in Budapest Sunday, tightening his grip on the lead in the Red Bull Air Race World Championship by winning an abbreviated race due to extreme weather conditions. Hannes Arch of Austria claimed second, while Australia’s Matt Hall came third.
