Event Review: Historic Opening Of Continental Hotel Zara In Budapest

On the evening of Wednesday 22 September around 500 formally dressed guests attended the official opening ceremony of the Continental Hotel Zara in Budapest. This listed-building has recently received Euro 50 million worth of renovations to create a blend of art nouveau; art deco and modern design, all of which still manages to respect the tradition of the first baths built on this site in 1827.

Between April and July 2010, photographer Szabolcs Barakonyi went to all the scenes of the assaults, making a portrait series of the survivors.
