Márton Mohos has won the Grand Prize of the Hungarian Association of Journalists (MUOSZ) at the 42nd Hungarian Press Photo competition, and Dénes Erdős as awarded the Andre Kertész Grand Prize at a ceremonial opening of an exhibition of contestants’ works.

At the end of December, the Bartók-Pásztory Prize-winning Budapest Strings will pay tribute to their founder and artistic director, Károly Botvay, with a musical tribute. This year's soloist is the internationally acclaimed young cellist Dóra Kokas, a multiple competition winner. The ensemble's concertmaster will once again be János Pilz.
