Standard and Poor’s Global Ratings on Friday said it revised the outlook on Hungary’s ‘BBB-/A-3’ long- and short-term foreign and local currency sovereign credit ratings to ‘positive’ from ‘stable’. Lending to SMEs, including the self-employed sector, expanded by 13 per cent. As a result, SME lending was able to grow on market basis following the termination of the Funding for Growth Scheme.
