Heaps of haggis, tons of tatties, piles of pipers, and even a scosh of scotch. Yep, late January, time for the separate Burns' Suppers throughout Budapest, where there's a choice for every taste and wallet. This year's various events were a touch extra special, as it was the 250th anniversary of the Bard's birth. Read on for a review of the top three 'Burns' bulis'.

100s of Xpats joined-in and we all raised HUF 333,000 for the 'Red Nose ClownDoctors'. Here's feedback from people you may know: "Congrats on the success of this charity event. Ronald Alexander Mollinger, the Dutch Ambassador in Budapest, welcomed 100's of guests, including many fellow ambassadors, to his residence in the Buda Hills to celebrate the official birthday of Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands.

A lively birthday bash for sure, possibly the best XpatLoop event so far, made possible in part due to the main sponsor FirstMed Centers. As well as being a fabulous networking opportunity, this community event was also a success for charity.
