Gábor Czene of Népszabadság conducted an interview with Tamás Fabiny, bishop of the northern district of the Hungarian Lutheran Church. Fabiny was ordained in Erlangen, Germany in 1982. He also studied in the United States. In addition to his church activities he worked for Duna TV. Since 2010 he has been the vice chairman of the Lutheran World Federation.

The Hungarian State Folk Ensemble is touring the United States; there will be a concert to help elderly musicians who are stewards of traditions; a new full-size program featuring dances from Sub-Carpathia will be compiled; and decision has been made to expand the Museum of Applied Folk Art. We have interviewed László Kelemen, director-general of the Hungarian Heritage House in Budapest.
