Budapest plans to join the international climate protection initiative “Under 2 MOU”, the metropolitan council’s general assembly meeting decided. The alliance was set up at the initiative of California and Baden- Wurttemberg by the leaders of twelve regions around the world in May this year. In 2015 the Annual Service of Remembrance will be held on Sunday 8 November. The traditional service and wreath-laying ceremony will take place at the Commonwealth War Cemetery of Solymár at 10:55. Everybody is welcome to attend the ecumenical service. Those who do are kindly requested to arrive at the cemetery no later than 10:45. The service lasts approximately 20 minutes.
