Celebrating 75th Anniversary of Vietnam - Hungary Diplomatic Relations

On the evening of April 29, 2025, in a solemn and warm atmosphere in Budapest, the Embassy of Vietnamin Hungary held a formal ceremony to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Hungary (February 3, 1950 – February 3, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

The event took place in the VIP Section of Cinema City at Arena Plaza, where local and international media guests had the pleasure of tasting fine food and drinks before the film commenced.

It was like from the “Italian Job”, “Goldfinger” or “Fast and Furious” films. At 6pm on Saturday, a cavalcade of classic cars whizzed across the Chain Bridge with a police escort, and landed at Széchenyi Square (formerly Roosevelt Square) in front of the MTA building.
