It wasn’t dinner as usual in Sushi Sei on Bécsi út in the III District. Rather than the classic sushi affair, the Japanese restaurant in Óbuda had turned into a pop-up dinner dedicated to Japanese-fusion cuisine featuring the talents of two Hungarian chefs Róbert Kemény and Dénes Dlusztus, good friends since chef school, but currently working in London and Bergen, respectively.

Taxi drivers continued to block traffic at the intersection of Bajcsy-Zsilinszky út and Andrássy út all through Monday night and throughout Tuesday in protest against the Uber ride-sharing service. Their numbers shrank from over 100 on Monday to around 30 overnight and 60 yesterday afternoon.

Success of MOL Bubi Public Bike Sharing system of Budapest is beyond expectations! On 5 November 2015 Enikő Pásztor, user of the 1 millionth rent of the system was greeted. In the main season, from April to September an average 3167 bikes were rented per day! Winter operation of the system has just begun on the 15th of November 2015.

The government has instructed all ministries and their institutions to cancel their contracts with Magyar Telekom, the local unit of Deutsche Telekom, government spokesman Zoltán Kovács said. He said the move would affect mobile internet subscriptions, but would not impact the partnership agreement between Telekom and the government.
